Pine River Shares held its first Chili Cook Off at the monthly Community Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 18 in the old middle school gym in Bayfield. Seth Newton, pictured here, won the People's Choice award for his famous elk chili, while Henry Gonzales took the Judges' Choice award. Both contestants received a gift card to Lewis Mercantile.
