The group will launch its first issue of their literary journal Cedar Moon, from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 21 at the Ignacio Community Library,

For a suggested $5 donation (to help keep the journal going), the launch will be filled with food and live music. Some of the authors in the journal will even be on hand to sign your copy.

“I was just so surprised at the ability of the people in the area who have such wonderful ideas and creativity,” says group organizer Burton Baldwin. “I just thought there has to be a way the rest of the community here – we have a world of such division that I found that we needed to have people come together and do this kind of stuff and share their literature.”
