To renew a permit, call 382-6000.Before conducting a burn, central dispatch, 385-2900, must be notified. Burn piles must be 4 square feet or smaller and contain only natural vegetation 6 inches in diameter or smaller. Larger burns may require a smoke permit from the state of Colorado. Materials that cannot be burned include coated or treated wood products, tree stumps, cut lumber, construction debris, plastics, tires, rubber and other chemical products.DFPD can provide assistance. Fees are $50 an hour, per truck.
