Power was restored to about 846 customers in the Fort Lewis College area by about 8 p.m. Thursday

Initially, power went out around 3:30 p.m. at Fort Lewis College and in the Hillcrest and Skyridge neighborhoods, and at first 1,066 customers were without power, according to a news release from La Plata Electric Association.

Crews planned to get power restored to the remaining 220 customers Thursday night, said Justin Talbot, manager of operations.
