The scholarship covers four years of tuition and expenses at any private or public school in Colorado, and there is an opportunity to apply for funding for a master’s degree, as well.
“I intend to use it to attend Colorado State University as a watershed science major,” she wrote to the Times.
Doskocil is a flutist and drum major for the Bayfield High School band and is a member of the FOR Club, among other school activities.
