“I’m just really happy about it because I’ve put so much time and effort into this for the last four years,” Lee said. “I can’t pinpoint what the reason is for the improvements I’ve made, just a lot of hard work. I’ve been working on my form and the conditions out here are perfect right now, so it was just a great day for it.”

The meet will resume at 9 a.m. Saturday with the discus throw at Miller Middle School before the running events at 11 a.m. on the Durango High School track.
