Julie has done an excellent job over the last four years as a La Plata County Commissioner, working tirelessly to stay well-informed on the many diverse and complex issues that face county government. She was on the front line during the Gold King Mine spill, and advocated for months for full EPA reimbursement of the county’s spill-related costs.
More recently, she and her fellow commissioners petitioned the Federal Communications Commission to have La Plata County included in the FCC’s Denver market and thus receive Denver programming.
Vote to re-elect Julie Westendorff for another term as county commissioner so that she can continue her work on behalf of all county residents.
