A Princess Leia mannequin at Durango Antique Market attracts the attention of passers-by Friday. Snowdown, the city’s annual winter celebration, will be held Feb. 1-5. This year, the theme is “Intergalactic.” Tickets for popular events, such as the Snowdown Follies and the Fashion Do’s and Don’ts Lunch, will go on sale Jan. 21. Do’s and Don’ts ticket sales will start at 6 a.m. at Magpies Newsstand, 707 Main Ave. Follies tickets will go on sale at the Elks Lodge, 901 East Second Ave. That day, radio stations KIQX, KRSJ and KIUP will announce clues to help people find the purchase numbers needed to buy Follies tickets.
