Members must live in the Animas River watershed. Appointments are generally for three years. Meetings occur monthly and are open to the public. Group members are expected to occasionally read through technical documents, attend most meetings and be prepared to participate in discussions at those meetings.
Current members of the CAG will decide on new appointments based on two main criteria: maintaining a diversity of interests and experience on the CAG and ensuring members will work well with others who may have different opinions.
