The 2019 National Women’s History month theme is “Visionary women: Champions of Peace & Nonviolence.”

The center is accepting nominations of La Plata County women for their contributions in their homes, schools and community.

The nomination are due 4 p.m. Jan. 31. To nominate a woman, visit bit.ly/2Flf0FW. The winner(s) will be presented at a special dinner on March 6 at the DoubleTree Hotel.
