All northbound traffic will be detoured to East Second Avenue so construction crews can make repairs to the storm drainage system before the start of the monsoon season in July. Southbound lanes won’t be affected.
Levi Lloyd, the streets superintendent, said the project probably will be completed sooner than June 28, but he said he wants the public to be prepared.
The public should anticipate traffic delays and take alternate routes when possible.
