Personally, I feel that my “metadata” is my data. But I might be willing to sell access to it. Say, five bucks for a month’s record of who I called? Certainly, we have room for one more layer of bureaucracy.

Come on, you capitalists, get with it. You could apply the same concept to those irritating robo-calls. You want to interrupt my dinner with a phone call – that I terminate very quickly – then pay me.
