On top of the Seattle Seahawks’ 40-10 preseason victory, Denver defensive end Derek Wolfe was placed on a backboard and taken away in an ambulance after suffering a neck injury in the first quarter of the blowout Saturday night in Seattle. Denver coach John Fox said at halftime that a CT scan revealed no broken bones, and the team was waiting on the results of a magnetic resonance imaging examination. Denver also lost starting right guard Louis Vasquez with a left knee injury in the first half; there was no word on the severity of the injury to the offensive lineman.
