The crosses that were stolen were placed there in an effort to illustrate the huge number of children who die from hunger and other effects of poverty in the world: 19,000 each day. We can change that.
It only takes $1 to feed a child for a day. No one can do it all, but everyone can do something.
It is estimated that if the contributions to combat world poverty were to increase by just 10 percent of their present levels, the problem could be eradicated in 10 years.
