The Boy Scouts of America and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are celebrating the centennial of Scouting in the church with the Internet broadcast of an 85-minute live multimedia production called “A Century of Honor.” The production will include original music, a cast of hundreds of Boy Scouts, historical re-enactments and special guests.

The production will stream at 7 p.m. today at www.scouts100. LDS.org. Scouts former and present as well as Scouting supporters are also welcome at any LDS meetinghouse in the area to view the celebration.

LDS churches in La Plata County are at 2 Hilltop Circle in Durango, 1690 U.S. Highway 160B in Bayfield and 6948 Colorado Highway 140 in Redmesa.
