Youth and adult soccer registration now open in Durango

Registration is available online at www. DurangoGov.org/Register4Rec or in person at the Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.

Youth soccer registration deadline is Aug. 28, and cost is $70. The season will run from Sept. 12 to Oct. 17. Practices will be scheduled throughout the week by volunteer coaches. Games will be on Saturdays and possibly Tuesday and/or Thursday nights.

Adult soccer six-versus-six format will be unofficiated. The registration deadline is Sept. 8 and cost is $250. The season will run from Sept. 13 to Nov. 10. Games will be played on Sunday and Tuesday nights.

All state and local COVID-19 health guidelines and mandates will be followed. Participants will not be required to wear a mask while playing other players, but officials and spectators must wear a mask when it is not possible to maintain 6 feet of social distance from others.
