Photo: Fairgrounds COVID-19 testing site can serve up to 250 people a day

Staff members with San Juan Basin Public Health and the La Plata County Emergency Operations Center close down the new COVID-19 drive-thru testing site Thursday at the La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave. Four testing lanes allow about 250 people a day to receive a free diagnostic test for the novel coronavirus. The site is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Thursday and Saturday. For more information about testing in the region, visit <a href="https://sjbpublichealth.org/testing/">sjbpublichealth.org/testing</a>.
