Crews with Lawrence Construction and sub contractors place wall panels on new and existing retaining wall segments Thursday where the U.S. Highway 550 realignment will carry traffic over U.S. Highway 160. Crews are also drilling at the Highway 160 eastbound off-ramp before the placement of pilings at the bridge approach where settling has occurred over the past years since the interchange was built. The Wilson Gulch exit off Highway 160 will be closed until October. (Jerry McBride/Durango Herald)
