The following is the city of Durango’s schedule for the Fourth of July on Tuesday:

Public offices and centers closures

City Hall, River City Hall, Police Station and Substation, Transit Center, Greenmount Cemetery offices, Parks & Recreation administrative offices, Chapman Hill, Durango Gymnastics, Durango Public Library, Durango Transit Center, Durango-La Plata County Airport administration office, Recycle Center.

Special hours and services
Durango Recreation Center, 5:45 a.m.-2 p.m.; Lake Nighthorse, 6:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.; free Main Avenue shuttle, 4-10 p.m.; free downtown parking, all day.No commercial trash, residential trash or recycling pickup and regular pickup days will be scheduled a day later. Durango Transit routes will not be operating.
