Durango High School students from left, Kylee Cheese, 15, Shaylee Valencia, 16, Lilli Williams, 16, and Grier Metz, 14, hold Mini, Hannah, Donald and Mickey, all Jacob sheep being raised by students enrolled in agricultural classes at the school. The sheep were donated two years ago. Marilyn Long, an agriculture teacher and Future Farmers of America adviser, has 100 students in four classes interacting with the sheep, giving vaccinations, studying behavior, shearing and processing wool.
