Cortez Quilt Co. and More will unveil fabric collections, samples and patterns and release the summer class schedule during a grand opening event on May 19.<\/p>\n

The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the store at 40 W. Main St.<\/p>\n

At 10:30 a.m. participants will have the chance to purchase a three-month class pass for $46, and at 1:30 p.m., attend a class by Shanna Stordahl on how to do your own quilting with ruler work. At 4:30 p.m., attendees will draw for a Bernina Bernette 33 machine. And from 1-5 p.m., the first 20 customers who schedule basic machine service will receive $20 off.<\/p>\n

Cortez Quilt Co. and More also will host a quilting documentation event from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Legacy Dance Studio, which is just four doors down at 20 W. Main St.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe hope you\u2019ll join us on Saturday to enjoy special demonstrations, discounts and refreshments,\u201d said Aimee King, owner of the Cortez Quilt Co. and More.<\/p>\n

The event is free, and cake will be served.<\/p>\n
