(Denver District Attorney's Office via AP)\",\"article_id\":104596,\"factbox_id\":null,\"photo_byline\":\"\",\"alt_text\":null,\"orientation_landscape\":false,\"in_article\":false,\"is_square\":false,\"gallery_id\":null,\"created_at\":\"2018-07-30T12:03:41.000-06:00\",\"updated_at\":\"2018-07-30T12:03:41.000-06:00\",\"width\":1600,\"height\":2000,\"order\":null,\"photo_sales\":false,\"special_report_id\":null,\"durango_coupon_id\":null,\"guid\":null,\"naviga_url\":null} --><\/p>\n<p>DENVER \u2013 A man accused of stealing a tractor before leading Denver police on a slow-speed chase through the city also is charged with biting and choking a police dog and stealing two other cars.<\/p>\n<p>Denver District Attorney Beth McCann on Thursday filed 23 charges against 37-year-old Thomas Busch connected to the July 20 incident, including 10 felony-level charges.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not clear whether Busch has an attorney.<\/p>\n<p>The charges include three counts of aggravated motor vehicle theft, three counts of failure to report an accident and one count of cruelty to a certified police working dog.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities say Busch stole a car, then a tow truck before taking the tractor from a city water department facility.<\/p>\n<p>A police squad car eventually rammed the tractor\u2019s front end in downtown Denver, stopping it.<\/p>\n<p>The Denver Post said the driver of the tractor suffered multiple police dog bites and was hit with a stun gun before he was arrested.
