\u201cRegion 9 has been renting office space since our inception almost 30 years ago\u201d, Laura Lewis Marchino, Region 9\u2019s executive director, said in a press release. \u201cSince we work hard to help area businesses attain sustainability, it seemed important to look to our future as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Region 9 will be closed and will have no phone or computer service during its move on Aug. 17-22.<\/p>\n

Region 9 is a nonprofit corporation led by a 26-member board of directors that provides lending capital for start-up businesses, businesses needing smaller amounts or those that have a funding gap with their local Bank. Region 9 also administers the Enterprise Zone Tax credit program, provides socio-economic data, and provides a variety of technical assistance to support economic development goals and priorities.<\/p>\n

Its new address will be 135 Burnett Drive, Unit 1, Durango, CO 81301. Office hours will be Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and its phone number and emails will remain the same.<\/p>\n
