The message also says there are serious allegations against individuals and names those people. The Sheriff\u2019s Office has received multiple reports of fraudulent calls.<\/p>\n<p>The caller requests potential victims to call back to discuss the case further before threatening legal action. A phone number to reach the scammers is given as (321) 221-5616.<\/p>\n<p>Other numbers that have been provided include (240) 251-5052 and (321) 221-5616.<\/p>\n<p>Sheriff\u2019s Capt. Ed Aber said the IRS does not contact people by phone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlease do not give any of your personal information over the phone unless you initiate the call to a business,\u201d the news release said. \u201cAt times, they will ask you to wire money or send a money gram.
