{"id":97865,"date":"2018-09-18T18:15:09","date_gmt":"2018-09-19T00:15:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/csu-extension-accepting-applications-for-master-gardener-program-2\/"},"modified":"2018-09-18T18:15:09","modified_gmt":"2018-09-19T00:15:09","slug":"csu-extension-accepting-applications-for-master-gardener-program-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/csu-extension-accepting-applications-for-master-gardener-program-2\/","title":{"rendered":"CSU Extension accepting applications for Master Gardener program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Colorado State University Extension Office in La Plata County is accepting applications for the 2019 Colorado Master Gardener program until Dec. 31.<\/p>\n<p>Students will receive training in tree care, vegetables, soils, native plants, water-wise gardening and pruning, according to a press release from Darrin Parmenter, of the La Plata County CSU Extension.<\/p>\n<p>The training utilizes on-site and distant education experts to teach a series of multiple classes.<\/p>\n<p>The 12-week series starts Jan. 31 at the La Plata County Fairgrounds every Thursday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m..
