The Mancos Valley Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the town of Mancos and the Mancos Creative District, have organized a calendar of holiday season events taking place in the area.<\/p>\n

The calendar includes events such as concerts by the Mancos Valley Chorus, a maker\u2019s fair for creating holiday crafts and a community Christmas party.<\/p>\n

Sunday, Dec. 2<\/div>\n

Mancos Valley Chorus concert at 3:30 p.m. in the Mancos United Methodist Church, at 470 W. Grand Ave.<\/p>\n

Wednesday, Dec. 5<\/div>\n

Essence of Healing Open House from 3 to 6 p.m. at 164 E. Frontage St. Hot apple cider, finger foods and desserts will be served.<\/p>\n

Friday, Dec. 7<\/div>\n

Art Walk Christmas Party from 4 to 7 p.m. in multiple locations downtown, with \u201cJewelry by Rosa\u201d at Kilgore Gallery, art unveiling at Goodnight Gallery, wagon rides, food and caroling.<\/p>\n

Holiday festivities in Pioneer Square, including Rudolph Run from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m., Christmas tree lighting at 6 p.m. and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus at 6 p.m.<\/p>\n

Showing of \u201cThe Polar Express\u201d at 7 p.m. in the Mancos Community Center, at 130 Grand Ave.<\/p>\n

Mancos Valley Chorus concert at 7 p.m. in the Mancos United Methodist Church, at 470 W. Grand Ave.<\/p>\n

Saturday, Dec. 8<\/div>\n

Mancos Valley Chorus concert at 3:30 p.m. in the Mancos United Methodist Church, at 470 W. Grand Ave.<\/p>\n

Historical Society Christmas Open House from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Mancos Historical Museum, at 145 Grand Ave.<\/p>\n

Holiday Maker Fair for make-and-take crafts for kids and adults available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mancos Public Library, at 211 E. First St.<\/p>\n

Sunday, Dec. 9<\/div>\n

Mount Lookout Grange Community Dinner from 6 to 9 p.m. at 680 Grand Ave.<\/p>\n

Wednesday, Dec. 12<\/div>\n

Community Christmas Party sponsored by the Mancos Valley Chamber of Commerce from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Community Center at 130 Grand Ave.<\/p>\n
