This weekend, Sunflower Theatre Troupe presents \u201c37 Postcards,\u201d a local play that suggests you can, in fact, go home again, though you just never know what you\u2019re going to find, Jodi Jahrling said in a press release.<\/p>\n

The play, directed by Peggy Tennyson, stars Kim Welty, Debi Feltman, Cap Allen, Susa Kelley, James Ayers and Amanda Sturman.<\/p>\n

Its limited run this weekend includes four performances, on Dec. 13-15 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. All showings are at the Sunflower Theatre, 8 E. Main St.<\/p>\n

The play, based on the script written by Michael McKeever in 2011, tells the story of Avery Sutton, who, years of traveling abroad, returns to his home in Connecticut. Unfortunately, almost nothing is as he remembered it. The entire house is tilted at a distinct angle, the dog hasn\u2019t been fed in five years, and Avery\u2019s grandmother, who everyone thought was dead, is still alive and kicking.<\/p>\n

Avery Sutton is forced to either accept the oddities of his family, or leave them behind, in this comedy about eccentric and dysfunctional families.<\/p>\n
