{"id":96688,"date":"2018-12-15T18:44:16","date_gmt":"2018-12-16T01:44:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/american-legion-provides-chance-to-see-santa\/"},"modified":"2018-12-15T18:44:16","modified_gmt":"2018-12-16T01:44:16","slug":"american-legion-provides-chance-to-see-santa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/american-legion-provides-chance-to-see-santa\/","title":{"rendered":"American Legion provides chance to see Santa"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><!-- gallery:20c92f12-3b1f-4eb4-a188-58046d55fae0 --><\/p>\n<p>A line of eager kids on Saturday had a chance to sit on Santa\u2019s lap and go home with a few toys thanks to the American Legion Post 75 Holiday Candy and Toy Giveaway at the Cortez Cultural Center plaza.<\/p>\n<p>Mike Colen, adjutant for Post 75, said they\u2019ve been putting on the event for 15 years.
