Nominations can be made anonymously.<\/p>\n<p>Citizen of the Year is a person or group of people that goes the extra mile for the community. They may display leadership, initiative, creativity and dedication, according to the guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>Through their involvement, they inspire others, develop creative ways to accomplish things and take charge by developing programs and activities.<\/p>\n<p>Business of the Year is one that contributes and promotes growth, stability and improvement. They promote the area as a good place to live and do business, show innovative and creative business practices, and demonstrate good customer service and community relationships.
