The Dolores Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for Business of the Year and Citizen of the Year for 2018.<\/p>\n

The deadline for nominations is Jan. 12.<\/p>\n

For nomination information, visit the Chamber website. Nominations can be made anonymously.<\/p>\n

Citizen of the Year is a person or group of people that goes the extra mile for the community. They may display leadership, initiative, creativity and dedication, according to the guidelines.<\/p>\n

Through their involvement, they inspire others, develop creative ways to accomplish things and take charge by developing programs and activities.<\/p>\n

Business of the Year is one that contributes and promotes growth, stability and improvement. They promote the area as a good place to live and do business, show innovative and creative business practices, and demonstrate good customer service and community relationships. They may play a leadership role in civic activities and volunteer their time to good causes.<\/p>\n

The winners will be announced at the Chamber of Commerce Spring Banquet on March 9.<\/p>\n
