The Board of Education for the Montezuma-Cortez School District Re-1 will meet tonight for their first regular meeting of 2019.<\/p>\n

Directors will consider reauthorizing a charter for Battle Rock Charter School, and possibly approve a School Access for Emergency Response grant.<\/p>\n

Among the board\u2019s discussion items, directors are set to talk midyear student achievement data, board goals, and the Colorado Association of School Boards legislative conference.<\/p>\n

And the school board will receive a few reports and presentations, including from middle school students in the Exceptional Student Services program, a school board appreciation report, and a staff report regarding the agricultural program at the high school.<\/p>\n

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the Montezuma-Cortez Middle School, 450 W. Second St.<\/p>\n
