Fellow artist Milt Beens is a painter and potter from Durango, with experience painting in watercolor, acrylics and oils. Both Wright and Beens have taken part in the national park\u2019s two-week artist-in-residence program, which invites artists to practice their craft in a setting rich with natural beauty and cultural history.<\/p>\n<p>The sale, with prices discounted by 50 percent, will last through mid-March, with the kick-off reception taking place Saturday from 2-4 p.m. at Artisans of Mancos, at the corner of Grand Avenue and Main Street.
