The Mancos Public Library hosts a Teen Cafe the first Saturday of the month, with a different theme each time. At Mad Hatter Day in October, teens enjoyed a celebratory tea party.<\/span>Mancos Public Library<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Each month, the cafe takes on a different theme, determined by library staff and the young people themselves, ranging from animation to a Mad Hatter Day to a Fortnite gaming night, according to Jenni Kitchen with the Mancos Public Library.<\/p>\n

This week will be \u201cGraphic Novels and Anime with Food, Film, and Games from Japan.\u201d Teens \u2013 ages 13 to 19 \u2013 are invited to stop by from 7-10 p.m. at the library, at 211 E. First St. Attendees will watch the feature film \u201cA Letter to Momo\u201d and the documentary \u201cManga Mad: Comics and Anime in Japan,\u201d eat rice dishes and drink some honey ginger milk and tea. There also will be Japanese-based games on hand to play, including Tokaido and Sushi Go Party.<\/p>\n
