That is much less than the $35,000 it would have cost had the city not been awarded the redesign, Blake said.<\/p>\n<p>The expenses the city did pay covered ancillary costs, she said, like integrating the library\u2019s page, remapping the website and training staff how to use it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s just so much more user friendly,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The shell of the website, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.durangogov.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.durangogov.org<\/a>, has changed but most of the content is the same, Blake said. The city transfered all information, and that process gave staff a chance to change anything that was outdated.<\/p>\n<p>The website was redesigned to be more accessible on mobile devices, Blake said.
