A Cortez man who was cited or arrested seven times in January for trespassing at City Market and the Cortez Public Library was arrested last week for DUI.<\/p>\n

Harry L. Bylilly, 46, is in custody at Montezuma County Detention Center on a $10,000 cash or surety bond. He faces charges of driving under the influence, driving under restraint and failure to show proof of insurance.<\/p>\n

Bylilly has an indefinite trespass notice from City Market from February 2014 and was issued a six-month trespass notice from the Cortez Public Library on Jan. 9 when a library employee called to request police trespass him from the facility.<\/p>\n

On Jan. 16 at about 10:30 a.m., Bylilly was issued a summons for trespassing at the library. About 30 minutes later, the same officer found Bylilly trespassing at City Market. He was taken to jail.<\/p>\n

Bylilly again picked up two new charges on Jan. 27. At about 3 p.m., two officers saw Bylilly in the parking lot of City Market and cited him for trespassing. Three hours later, an officer was called to City Market on a trespass complaint for a different person but saw Bylilly at the entrance of the grocery store.<\/p>\n

He was taken to jail, but first was medically cleared at Southwest Memorial Hospital because he was intoxicated. Two days later, Bylilly was cited for trespassing at the Cortez Public Library.<\/p>\n

Bylilly appeared in Montezuma County Court briefly on Wednesday and is scheduled for a pretrial conference next week.<\/p>\n
