Bust up the snow-shoveling winter blues at the Dolores Chamber Annual Spring Banquet and Community Celebration Awards Ceremony March 30.<\/p>\n

The locals\u2019 favorite costume party is held at the Dolores Community Center, and the theme this year is \u201cShamrocked, a Leprechaun\u2019s Ball.\u201d<\/p>\n

It kicks off at 6 p.m. with cocktail hour featuring loud toasts, door prizes, photo ops and a silent auction.<\/p>\n

At 7 p.m., a catered dinner is served, then at 7:45 p.m. a professional auctioneer starts the bidding on auction items. Proceeds go into a scholarship fund for local students.<\/p>\n

The celebration then kicks up a notch with the announcement of Business and Citizen of the Year Awards for 2018.<\/p>\n

\u201cJoin us in honoring the folks who hold Dolores in their hearts,\u201d said Dolores Chamber director Rocky Moss.<\/p>\n
