A man found dead last week near an abandoned vehicle died by suicide, investigators said Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Anthony Kaszowski, 57, worked in La Plata County but did not have a permanent residence here, said La Plata County Coroner Jann Smith.<\/p>\n

He died Feb. 18, she said. His body was found near an abandoned vehicle at the end of County Road 201, in the Hermosa area.<\/p>\n

County Road and Bridge Department employees found Kaszowski\u2019s body and alerted law enforcement. He died of a gunshot wound, Smith said.<\/p>\n
