The Durango-based Diabolical Sound Platoon will perform at the Mancos cidery Saturday night from 7-9 p.m. The hip hop band was founded in the 1990s and now features two emcees (or \u201cwordsmiths\u201d) and five instrumentalists on the trombone, electric guitar, electric bass and drums.<\/p>\n

On March 28, two musicians from the Birds of Play acoustic trio will take the stage at Outlier. The band takes inspiration from the wild outdoors, mixing a range of genres including folk, bluegrass and blues. Thursday night\u2019s show will feature bass and mandolin-player Eric Shedd and Alex Paul on guitar and mandolin, performing as a duo.<\/p>\n

The performance is 7-9 p.m.<\/p>\n
