Last year, a new physical therapy clinic came to town on North Park Street.<\/p>\n

Doctors Michael Grajeda and Megan Flesch opened High Desert Physical Therapy in August as a private practice providing comprehensive care.<\/p>\n

\u201cPhysical therapists help to improve a patient\u2019s mobility and motion, provide an alternative to surgery and reduce the need for prescription medications when possible,\u201d Flesch wrote in email to the Journal.<\/p>\n

Grajeda and Flesch have been in the Cortez area for five years. Prior to opening up High Desert Physical Therapy, they worked in outpatient orthopedics.<\/p>\n

The two specialize in the areas of vestibular rehab, concussion management, strength and conditioning, pelvic rehabilitation and women\u2019s health and TMJ.<\/p>\n

The clinic is at 111 N Park St., Suite B.<\/p>\n
