Governor\u2019s Office, the Colorado Department of Education, the Denver Preschool Program and military libraries statewide.<\/p>\n<p>The program comes from the idea that providing children with access to books promotes early literacy skills and helps families serve as their children\u2019s first and most important teachers.<\/p>\n<p>The Cortez Public Library, Durango Public Library, Pine River Library and Ignacio Community Library are pickup locations.<\/p>\n<p>The Cortez Public Library also announced this week that its annual Summer Reading Program will have the theme \u201cA Universe of Stories.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For more information, call the Cortez library, 202 N.
