Mesa Verde Back Country Horsemen will host a presentation on \u201cBrand Inspections \u2013 Mandatory Under Colorado Law\u201d at 7 p.m. on May 14, at the First National Bank meeting room, 2258 E. Main St.<\/p>\n

The public is invited to a presentation by Joel Stevenson, Colorado brand inspector. He will discuss \u201cWhat are Brand Inspections and Why Do We Need Them?\u201d Appetizers will be served at 6:30 p.m. Bring a drink.<\/p>\n

Stevenson is part of a division that employs approximately 58 brand inspectors located throughout the state. Discussion will include state law regarding when brand inspections are needed, permanent trip passes and more.<\/p>\n
