The 2019 Dolores River Festival will open at 10 a.m. June 1.<\/span>The Journal file<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Greater Dolores Action will host the 16th Annual Dolores Riverfest jam from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on June 1 at Joe Rowell Park, Colorado Highway 145\/Railroad Avenue on the west end of Dolores.<\/p>\n

Participants are encouraged to bring their family, sun shade and water bottles and set up a spot in Joe Rowell Park for the festival for all day music. Participants may also reserve a tent or RV spot in the park.<\/p>\n

The festival will feature two stages, nine bands, local beer and foods, raft rides, camping, vendors and the Kids Discovery Zone. The event is pet-friendly, but pets must be on leash.<\/p>\n

The festival also is looking for volunteers. Check out the website to learn how to get free entry, a T-shirt and a drink voucher in exchange for a three-hour shift.<\/p>\n

Gates open at 10 a.m. Tickets are $25 at the gate or $20 if purchased in advance.<\/p>\n

Vendor applications will be accepted until May 10.<\/p>\n
