Ray Shupe. Alt was arrested on accusations of violating a restraining order meant to keep him away from the child, DPD\u2019s spokesman said.<\/p>\n<p><figure class=\"wp-block-image naviga-inline-image naviga-align-left alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/imengine.public.prod.dur.navigacloud.com\/?uuid=cbaf438d-be69-4580-9a7a-36e5b810005a&amp;function=cover&amp;type=preview&amp;source=false&amp;width=2000\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1333\" alt=\"Alt\" class=\"naviga-image\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption><span class=\"caption\">Alt<\/span><span class=\"credit\">du1-i-syn<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><p>Alt\u2019s arrest stemmed from Delta County, where the Sheriff\u2019s Office accused him of domestic violence, three violations of protection orders, a bail bond violation and child abuse, said Sheriff Mark Taylor, in an interview Monday with <em>The Durango Herald<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The Sheriff\u2019s Office also accused Alt of violating a custody order \u201crelating to parental responsibilities,\u201d meaning he \u201chad no parental responsibilities with child,\u201d Taylor said.<\/p>\n<p>Camyo Cowger, the infant\u2019s 21-year-old mother, \u201cwas being somewhat uncooperative\u201d on Thursday morning after she was admitted to Delta County Memorial Hospital\u2019s emergency room, the sheriff said. Law enforcement is investigating her relationship with Alt and how an arrow became stuck in her buttocks, according to the Delta County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>Durango police impounded the vehicle Alt was driving and took him to the La Plata County Jail where he remained as of Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Formal charges had not been filed as of Monday. Law enforcement accuses Alt of felony and misdemeanor crimes.
