Nine teams competed in the one-day tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Among the most impressive performers for the Bluejays was Carter Galloway, who won the 113-pound division with pin victories over Olathe\u2019s Max Johnson, Nucla\u2019s Marley Martinez and Nucla\u2019s Kyle Short.<\/p>\n<p>Sophomore Chase Moore also walked away with an individual title at 160 pounds after pinning Olathe\u2019s Jordan Perez, Montezuma-Cortez\u2019s Casen Allmon, Nucla\u2019s Tim Helkey and Hotchkiss\u2019 Ethan Guy.<\/p>\n<p>Ty Everett rounded out Mancos\u2019 individual title winners with an impressive performance in the 138-pound division that featured pin victories over Montrose\u2019s Tristen Diaz, Olathe\u2019s Chase Ripley, and an 8-7 decision win over Norwood\u2019s Brayden Maggalon in the championship match.<\/p>\n<p>Trevor Paquin finished second in the 126-pound division after he pinned Olathe\u2019s Miguel Rodriguez and Montrose\u2019s Gracey Davis before being pinned by Montezuma-Cortez\u2019s Austin Featherman in the division\u2019s championship match.<\/p>\n<p>Third-place winners for the Bluejays included Ayden Matthews, who finished 3-1 in the 120-pound division; Breccen Morelli, who finished 4-1 in the 145-pound division; and Colt Fury, who finished 3-1 in the 152-pound division.<\/p>\n<p>Lot Martin, who finished 2-2 at 152 pounds, Jake Lewis finished 1-2 while at 106 pounds, Braiden Miera finished 1-3 at 145 pounds, Andrew Ruatti finished 0-2 at 145-pounds, William Small finished 0-3 at 182 pounds, and Benny Lewis finished 0-4 at 220 pounds.<\/p>\n<p>Next up for Mancos will be a trip to Paonia on Jan. 25 to compete in the Screaming Eagle Invitational.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Galloway, Moore and Everett win individual titles for the Bluejays<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":90467,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[],"tags":[29,346,1205],"naviga_topic":[],"class_list":["post-90466","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","tag-newsletter","tag-sports","tag-wrestling"],"acf":[],"author_name":"dh_admin","_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/90466","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=90466"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/90466\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":90469,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/90466\/revisions\/90469"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/90467"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=90466"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=90466"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=90466"},{"taxonomy":"naviga_topic","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dh.durangoherald.com\/tj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/naviga_topic?post=90466"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
