A virtual workshop open to the public will be held May 27.<\/span><span class=\"credit\">Associated Press file<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><p>FARMINGTON \u2013 The U.S. Bureau of Land Management announced it will hold an information session about a proposed solar project near Farmington.<\/p>\n<p>The session will be a virtual workshop via Zoom from 6 to 8 p.m. May 27 about the Shiprock Solar Project. The meeting is open to the public, but <a href=\"https:\/\/us02web.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/WN_dggRI7E0S1qf8LP965a9wQ?_x_zm_rtaid=YQ43qbsYShqbt-tmgLqsKA.1589395686199.cec36f0b76e468517847b73c16eccc94&amp;_x_zm_rhtaid=709\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">registration is required<\/a> at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blm.gov\/press-release\/blm-hold-public-pre-application-meeting-shiprock-solar-proposal-farmington\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BLM Farmington Field Office\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The solar project would be located near Waterflow, New Mexico, about 4 miles north of the San Juan Generating Station.
