We just have to be a little more patient this year,\u201d Beresford added. \u201cHesperus has an exciting season planned with new additions, events, and improvements at the mountain.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Crews will continue to mow grass and prepare the mountain for the skiing and snowboarding until opening day. Lift access is available for $25 while the ski area is closed. To purchase an uphill season pass, visit Purgatory Sports, 2615 Main Ave.<\/p>\n<p>Hesperus Ski Area offers 26 trails on 160 acres, accessible by a two-person chairlift, and night skiing.
