Main St.<\/span><span class=\"credit\">Journal file<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><p>The Mancos Public Library will soon celebrate a decade of operations in its current building.<\/p>\n<p>After 10 years of operation at its riverside home at 211 W. First St., the library will be hosting an anniversary party on Sept. 15, complete with music, cake, and history.<\/p>\n<p>The Mancos Public Library <a href=\"http:\/\/mancoslibrary.org\/info\/history-of-mpl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">officially opened<\/a> in 1946, though it has been shuffled throughout town over the past decades \u00e2\u20ac\u201c the collection has been housed in sites including the old Town Hall, the high school basement, and 111 N.
