The festivities kicked off on Wednesday with a chuck wagon barbecue at 6 p.m. at the Montezuma County Fairgrounds.<\/p>\n

Rodeo shows start at 7 p.m. Thursday at the fairgrounds with a family night.<\/p>\n

Military Appreciation Night will follow on Friday at the fairgrounds, and Saturday\u2019s show is the \u201cTough Enough To Wear Pink\u201d event, which helps raise awareness about breast cancer.<\/p>\n

Other events include a carnival, a kids rodeo day at the Cortez Public Library and the Rob Yates Memorial Golf Tournament.<\/p>\n
