Tomac\u2019s finished 17.6 seconds ahead of second-place Martin.<\/p>\n<p>Tomac is the ninth rider to earn back-to-back Daytona SX450 victories. It was his fifth win of the season. Daytona is Round 10 of the 18-race Monster Energy Supercross Series.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe went at it those first 10 laps,\u201d Tomac said, according to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.news-journalonline.com\/sports\/20170311\/cianciarulo-collects-huge-daytona-supercross-sx250-victory-tomac-captures-featured-sx450-main-event\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Daytona New-Journal<\/a>. \u201cJeremy was running a pretty fast pace. I had to back off and relax a minute, then make a run at it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jason Anderson, racing for Husqvarna, finished third. Points leader Ryan Dungey ended up in fourth after starting slow.<\/p>\n<p>Tomac has a season-high five victories in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross season. He\u2019s now second in the series standings, 17 points behind KTM\u2019s Ryan Dungey.<\/p>\n<p>Honda\u2019s Jeremy Martin was second, 17.618 seconds back.
