His custom leather belts, knife sheaths, pistol holsters and rifle cases are all hand-stitched and designed for practicality and Western appeal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have stock items and love to create made-to-order items that are memorable,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s also taken a liking to restoring old sewing machine bases and adding a custom wood table top.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re ornate and sturdy and have a nostalgic appeal,\u201d Zippy said.<\/p>\n<p>The couple has been on the road for the past four years, and are excited about re-establishing their home base in Dolores.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have the perfect spot, so we thought this is the right time to open our showroom where we can work and create,\u201d Osuna said.<\/p>\n<p>Red Tail Creations will have a grand opening on from Dec. 1-3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Drinks and treats will be served.<\/p>\n<p>Their regular winter hours will be Thursday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. They can be reached at (970) 560-5259.
