Also available is information about Colorado ballot measures such as Amendment 69, ColoradoCare.<\/p>\n<p>The office\u2019s regular hours will be 10-4 p.m., depending on volunteer support, party co-chair Ric Plese said. Yard signs, bumper stickers and informational handouts are available at the office.<\/p>\n<p>Plese said he hopes to campaign hard for Schwartz, who is running against incumbent Rep. Scott Tipton, of Cortez, for Colorado\u2019s 3rd Congressional District. One of the largest geographical districts in the nation, the district includes much of the Western Slope, as well as the San Luis Valley and portions of the Eastern Plains.<\/p>\n<p>Plese said Tipton hasn\u2019t done enough to help people in Montezuma County. He said Schwartz has an impressive work ethic and has worked with both Democrats and Republicans to pass bipartisan measures in her time as a state legislator.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s a fighter,\u201d Plese said.<\/p>\n<p>Another priority for the fall election is educating people about Amendment 69, ColoradoCare.
